Artist Statement
What if smell has colours, what if air has colours, what if feeling has colours…
I like to paint what we can’t see but feel, it has atmosphere and energy, something exists but we can’t touch or visualise it equally the same.
I like to mix cultures into my art, often Japan and NZ to give the idea of how different cultures can coexist and blend together in the beauty of multiculturalism.

Materials, techniques and subjects changes according to what I like to tell in my paintings.

I hope to leave a legacy of art to inspire New Zealanders, immigrants and another generations of multicultural people to enjoy the diversity of art and culture.
